Jumpsuits cropped up often in the Spring 09 shows, and, in the wake of an era dominated by onesy-s of all manifestations, some parameters are in order. On the one hand, you can take your jumpsuit to an androgynous place with the flight suit looks. It's relatively subdued and rather nice when paired with heels. On the other side of the spectrum come unabashed, seventies-inspired jumpsuits. Whether bejeweled, or a-symmetrical, these suits are always wide legged and silk. We're all about a trend that has a silhouette for every type of person--we just hope they don't proliferate the market the way the shorts-version did a few seasons back.
