>> Elle Offices Hit By Bedbugs
Elle editors have been working from home this week after bedbugs were found at the magazine's offices at 50th Street and Broadway. Parent company Hachette Filipacchi alerted employees with a memo Tuesday, saying that "a specially trained sniffing beagle was brought in to confirm" the infestation and the problem area was treated. A followup memo sent out Wednesday night told Elle staff to stay home until Monday. This morning, Elle.com editorial director Keith Pollock Tweeted, "Do I have bedbug bites on my face, or has the potential threat of getting bitten caused a break out? I'm flea-ing NY."  [NY Post, @MrPollock]
