>> Looks like it's going to be rough-going to get your hands on the December issue of Vogue Paris, which debuts this week. Mlle Kate Moss is in fact guest-editing the issue, whose four different covers were created based on Jean Cocteau's 1946 French film, La Belle et la Bete (Beauty and the Beast, right). For each cover, Mlle was photographed by Craig McDean in a variety of different ensembles: a Chanel couture cape; a Valentino couture gown; a Giorgio Armani Privé dress with Dior Homme bolero and Givenchy couture boots; and a Dior Homme embellished jacket and Superfine skinny leg jeans. The issue will also include an article which traces Mlle's life, career, and her rise to fashion icon statues, a portfolio of Mlle in which major photographers (Bruce Weber, Mario Testino, and the like) each dedicate one photo, and the requisite fashion stories about Mlle's much-emulated style. Oh boy, will I be scrounging the town for this issue.
