The Classic Pencil Case

The original: The social currency in elementary school wasn't in the form of lunch money: it was all about who had the most crayons. And those who had a primo set of markers and colored pencils likely had a pretty tubular case to store them all in.

The update: Although we don't fill our purses with Crayola much these days, we do have plenty of valuable items to stow away, and with the amount of options — from wallets and wristlets to clutches and minibags — out there, we're focusing on ones that provide multizipper organization or a clever look that gets the attention of everyone in the (class)room.
