And there's at least one shot where Kirsten/Marie goes shopping with about 500 different shoes (I'm exaggerating) by Manolo Blahnik in it (above). I love the idea of it being set to an eighties soundtrack -- what did you expect from Sofia Coppola, anyway? A serious biopic? Nah. La Coquette saw it and loved it, and I plan on loving it too (I hope!).
