Start Running With a 30-Minute Workout — Playlist Included

Brand new to a running routine? Interval training, alternating between periods of walking and running, is the perfect way to start. This technique helps you build up your stamina and confidence with every stride. You can use this workout in the gym or out in the fresh air, but if you're on the treadmill, don't be too concerned about your speed or incline right away. Find a treadmill pace that keeps you walking and one that gets you running. Just plug into this playlist and start moving accordingly. You start and end with walking, but the three songs in between will force you to pick up the pace and run.
