TrnSmle & Fit, I LOVE roasting my vegetables in the oven. My favorite right now is brussel sprouts with a little drizzle of balsamic after.

I've started using apple sauce instead of vegetable oil in recipes and it works really well. I'm sure it all depends on the recipe, but I did it with banana pancakes this weekend and no one could tell the difference.

The wet saute is an AWESOME idea! I've been looking for a good substitute! Thanks! :-D

These tips are awesome. Plus I love that tank top the woman is wearing at the start of this post...:-D

I disagree with the wet saute. Most broths have a lot of sodium in them. I just saute all my veggies in olive oil...

TrnSmle, I do the same thing with cauliflower! Both are so tasty roasted.

I love to bake my broccoli at a really high temperature. I bake it at like 450 or 500 degrees. I do it for about 10-12 minutes with a splash of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and flip the florettes halfway through. I also add garlic with only about 2-3 minutes left so it doesn't burn. Once it comes out, I drizze lemon juice over it. It's crispy and delicious!
