Best Grammy Music to Work Out To

Which Grammy Award Winner Do You Work Out to the Most?

I admit it, I was into the Grammys this year. For sure, there were loads of songs nominated that I worked out to last year — like Britney's "Womanizer" and "Kids" by MGMT. But I was excited to see that some of my go-to artists for workout playlists were given big time Grammy love. Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and even indie darlings Phoenix always give me that extra push I need when I'm working it out at the gym. How about you . . .

Of those: Lady Gaga. Most of my favorite bands to work out to weren't nominated (either they aren't poppy enough, aren't Metallica and/or Judas Priest, or haven't done anything recently)... I like pumping iron to Drowning Pool, it makes me feel just aggressive enough to push myself. Though, I like Lady Gaga or Marilyn Manson (mostly stuff from The High End of Low) and occasionally Nine Inch Nails for cardio. It's either dancey enough to make me extra motivated, or it has a nice industrial beat to it.

I love my Phoenix as well--I've seen them in concert twice. What a great album, they really deserved a win.

Phoenix is the only one I ever listen to from any of them so that's my answer.

I listen to so many different artists and styles of music while working out, but from the list above it would be Beyonce for sure, I am back and forth with Gaga (not sure if I like her music or not) . I must agree that Pink's grammy performance was beautiful, she has a really amazing voice!

I find Lady Gaga's music so irritatingly offputting I physically will not move to it; I'll workout to House (esp Euro and Afro house...memories of parties in Durban), grime - Dizee Rascal etc, M.I.A., dance, even Metallica, I'm actually not picky haha

I work out to Pink. Not only is her music fun to work out to, but she's an inspiration. Heck, did you see her at the Grammys?

Definitely Lady Gaga. Love her!

i think it's either beyonce or fergie -- though i do know gaga works out with harley pasternack, so it's a tough one to call. she did also say though that the secret to being so tiny is because none of them eat, and while gaga is known for her shock value, a small part of me doesn't think she's joking.
