Cool or Not: Women's Yoga/Pilates Toe Sox

Cool or Not: Women's Yoga/Pilates Toe Sox

Have you guys seen the Pilates/Yoga Toe Sox before? They not only allow for toe movement, but they are also covered in little rubber grippers so you don't slip. My toes do not like to be separated from each other, even if it is for the sake of keeping optimal alignment during yoga and Pilates sessions. I don't know though, maybe you guys are loving these toe sox simply for their functionality rather than their looks. Or maybe you even love the look? So as always, I am curious are these cool?

Already love them? Buy them from Amazon.com for about 13 bucks.

I have some open toe non slip socks for yoga and LOVE them. After working out at the gym and then pulling off my tennis shoes and socks and having clammy feet for a yoga class, and slipping, I had to get a pair.

I have some without the individual toes and I love them - I haven't slipped at all since I started using them. I havent been able to find any since, though. All I see now are the ones that only cover your toes - a little sock for the front of your feet.

Other - I'd really have to try them to see if they were cool or not. My skin is so sensitive that if they were made of something funky my feet would not be happy after I took them off. But anything to keep from slipping on my mat is worth a try!

I think its a great idea, but they would be better without the individual toe grips.

I hate when hands, feet slip, especially in downward dog! I think these would be a huge help in getting the right alignment, I would not have to worry so much about falling flat on my face!

Interesting. I'm undecided.

I don't see the point, personally, I'd rather just work on my feet/toes. But I was a dancer and a gymnast and I'm used to really feeling the floor. I think it's better that way but whatever makes you happy, I suppose. And yes, they have Yoga Paws.

My mom bought me a pair of those a couple of years ago - without those rubber thingies, though. But I haven't liked them then (the feeling of fabrcis between my toes is just disgusting), and I don't like them now. But actually, I'm not a huge fan of socks in general. I like being barefoot. *g*

Gross, I think I would freak out if I had things around my toes. I have to always be able to scrunch up my feet or I feel weird--I think it is some OCD type thing.

I say not cool... I have 2 webbed toes on each foot so these wouldn't work for me!

Do they have some for hands too? I always seem to be slipping and sliding while doing yoga. These are such a cool idea.
