The place they tap the water they (Carlsberg I think) bottle isn't that far away from where I live! There's nothing wrong with tap water plus it has fluoride for your teeth. I hate seeing water bottles being used once and then thrown away to be recycled. I just had to call him on it yesterday. I wasn't sure if it was him or our daughter. The look on his face gave it away. I just got a postcard from the city saying that there's more radium in our water than is allowed. So I just drink from the fridge, which is just filtered tap. And even then, it tastes like crap. My brother has a Brita filter and that didn't even work. The water is still cloudy and has a weird after taste. NJ water is hopeless. SO much better - it's a Consumer's Digest Best Buy (apparently) and in our research was one of the best on the market. http://www.multipureco.com/br170.pdf Spectra 6 years Oshkosh has awesome city tap water, but I usually drink mine from the fridge water dispenser, which is basically an inline replaceable filter for the tap water. I'd never buy the bottled stuff. ilanac13 6 years we have a brita filter. we used to be big time bottle water drinkers, but lately we've found that it's much much less expensive to go the filter route. darkoblivion 6 years We actually have one of the best water supplies in the country (Louisville, KY) so I feel safe drinking our water and I actually really do love the taste. Bottled water just seems so wasteful to me, but to each their own. le-romantique 6 years When I lived in NJ (my first 18 years of life) I drank tap water... it was delicious there. Now I live in FL and use bottled water (but not for like tea, spaghetti or something, then I use tap... when I was a kid I thought celebrities used fancy bottled water for everything... haha) wackdoodle 6 years Yes, I've got that massive Britta Water storage thing in my fridge and I only drink tap water for both health and ecologically reasons.I don't think I couldn't bring myself to buy a single bottled water again.
