Do You Have Any "Back to School" Fitness Goals?

Truth be told, I've been out of school for a while now, but as soon as Labor Day comes and goes, I get that back to school mind set. I want a new pair of shoes, a fancy bag and a fresh start. For me, early fall is almost as loaded as New Year's Day for the re-commitment to fitness goals. Just like starting with a new teacher or new schedule, I like to take a look at my fitness plan and reevaluate my goals. The change in seasons inspires me too.

Yeah, early morning workouts i am shooting for. but i am not a morning person. I am concentrating on forming good habits that will be easy to follow later.

Yes! I want to get my abs toned and my legs toned. I plan on working out more since I've gotten lazy. Plus, I'm going to be eating healthier however I'm not going to drive myself nuts counting calories like I did early this year. I can easily keep track of calories in my head and if I eat the right foods/portions I'll be fine. I'm already thin however I want to be toned and healthier.

I tend to walk a lot more because I go back and forth for classes and work. It's my daily cardio because I get about 30 to 45 minutes each day. I bike at night when I am not swamped with work to do. I also relax not by watching tv but by doing pilates or yoga. Also in the mornings (don't know why I don't do it everyday), I get up 10 minutes early and stretch and do push-ups, sit-ups, lunges, and jump squats.

Yes -- I am determined to drop another jeans size. Been cranking up the workouts, intervals, lifting, etc. Just got a new (demanding) job which has me on my butt all day ... so I have to ramp up the cardio during the day. Might start walking at lunch - I hear the fitness center is swamped so power walking around the office park might be a better alternative.

Yes I do have new goals, I love having things to aim to. Looking forward to begin kickboxing. My other goal for Fall is to wake up earlier and get into a routine of exercising in the morning!

I'm looking forward to running outdoors more. I tend to do indoors workouts when the temps rise above 90, but I love running outside so much!

well i think i started one in january, however, my goal for the fall, would be to maintain my work that i accomplished this summer!! AND, maybe even get toned some more, lose 5 more pounds. etc. etc. ... its a cycle.

I wouldn't say I necessarily have goals, but I have gotten back into the swing of working out after being lazy most of the summer. I feel great!

why yes i do, i tend to do better on my diets when i'm in school for some strange reason, i guess its partly because i have less time to eat, and weirdly enough i always seem to make time to do cardo when i'm in school even though i have all this free time in summer and i should prob. be studying ... i got it, i find time to work out b/c it takes away from the awfulnes of studying! yeah i'm weird
