Do You Overindulge on Holidays?

The Fourth of July is filled with so much barbecue goodness. It's hard to resist overindulging on all the homemade hamburgers, BBQ ribs, and creamy potato salad. I definitely overate this weekend, but I'm OK with it, since it was a holiday. I won't let a little splurging throw me off track completely. What about you? Are holidays a reason to eat whatever you want, or is it just another day of healthy eating for you?

it depends on where i'm vacationing - when in spain or italy, i find it easier to eat more healthily, even if i eat more than usual; when in england, even if i eat less, the food there is so stodgy and you have to plan to eat healthily, so even if i don't overindulge, i still have to watch out what i eat

Nope. I do cut back on my workouts a bit, but I tend to stay on track with my eating.

Depends on the holiday. There are only three that I overeat a bit on because they are the only three that we go see family for.

No, but I did have a sirloin burger that gave me indigestion. I think perhaps the seasonings disagreed with me.
