Do You Splurge on the Weekends?

The work week is the time when most of us stick to eating healthy and going to the gym. Then comes Friday night and it's off to cocktails and deep dish pizza. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with letting loose on your healthy lifestyle everyone once in a while; I am just curious how many of you splurge on the weekends.

It depends...I'll still eat healthy, but I'll just eat more than I normally would during the week.

On Sunday I always do a big breakfast with bacon and eggs, since it's the only day during the week that I let myself eat bacon.

Technically, I splurge every day. Not good, I know.

I let myself splurge a bit on the weekends. this is the only time of the week I drink, so I also ease up on myself a bit when it comes to, oh, that second piece of pizza or a midnight milkshake run.

I sometimes splurge becasue when I drink on weekends, I can't control those drunk munchies!!! But I worked out for 2 hrs today just in case!

I usually just splurge a little bit each weeknight so I don't feel deprived for the weekends. It prevents me from going overboard and feeling crappy the next day.

I always splurge on weekends...my boyfriend works 2nd shift, so we only get to be together on Saturdays and Sundays. Saturday night is always date night and the sky's the limit...dinner, dessert, drinks, etc.!

Sunday should always be a day off =] It's ok. You don't have to feel guilty about it if you earned it throughout the week.

i don't think my eating habits on the weekend are too different from those during the week usually. the weekends that i come home from school to visit my family are killer, though. i got in last night and did a lot of unnecessary late night snacking. oh well! i'm going to take a run in a little while!

It's important to have a balance- if you're mostly healthy during the week, you've earned the right to enjoy yourself a bit and not stress out over calories or a few drinks every now and then. if you don't let go occasionally then youre definitely too far on the other end of the spectrum and that doesnt seem healthy, either

On Sunday my dad makes a big breakfast and dinner. It's the only time I have really big meals so I don't feel guilty about it at all.

I try not to splurge every weekend but sometimes it is harder than others. I'll start the day out good then dinner comes around or we go out with friends and I have a drink or two. Its really hard! We go to the movies a lot on the weekend and usually get candy and fast food before. So then Sunday I'm right back to being healthy...but I think this is the reason it is taking me so long to reach my goal weight.

I don't splurge every weekend. Generally, I splurge on special occasions like birthdays and holidays.

I do eat dinner out on Friday nights, but I don't anything that really strays from my "typical" eating habits. I definitely drink more on the weekends though, usually a couple glasses of wine or a couple mixed vodka drinks.

Sure, if I've earned it. Or if I'm willing to work extra to burn it off later!
