It's just harder to grab the equipment with them.

Now that its getting warmer, my ring fits a bit more snug, so I'm not constantly worrying about losing it. I never got it adjusted because of this. I'm really glad that I didn't get it adjusted!! Kind regards, Andy Moquin Engagement Rings Community of NY Buffalo, New York

My fingers swell when I work out, so I always take my wedding ring off before.

One of the reasons I started using fitness gloves (Nike = love!) was so that I didn't have to remove my rings... :)

The only time I take my ring off is for boxing class! Any other workout I keep it on :)

I only wear three rings, one my boyfriend gave me and a dummy set. I work out with them on, specially when I'm the only woman in the weights room!

If I had an engagement/wedding ring...I would totally wear it ;)

I usually wear an eternity band, and it's still just a bit scary for me even though it's not a big, honking rock. I have a plain backup wedding band (no stones), specifically for running or the gym. It's more for comfort than anything-- there's the occasional creepy guy but my gym is mostly college age hitting on college age. I'm irrelevant. ;)

I only keep my engagement ring on. But yes the underside of the ring isn't so round any more because of wearing it while lifting weights. Not so happy about that, but I rarely if ever take off my ring.

I only really wear my wedding/engagement rings and I don't take them off except when I shower and or when I'm getting my hands gunky because I don't want to get the stones dirty.

My fingers swell in the heat ... so I take them off - even my wedding band and ering.

I don't wear any kind of jewelry when I work out. My work out is all in the morning - as soon as I get home and take a shower, I will put my wedding ring/earring back.

If you lift weights or use any equipment like that, you can also damage the underside of your rings. Best not to wear them - plus, I don't like getting my jewelry sweaty! :)

I wear rings unless I'm dancing because then they tend to slide off when I open my arms swiftly.

I try not to take my wedding rings off if I can help it. Sometimes in yoga though, I have to take it them off to do an asana so i take it off and set it just off the mat and then quickly put them back on when I've finished.

Generally, I take them off, especially if I'm doing weights.

yeah sorry about that--I did my research and saw it is possible to chip a diamond. don't listen to me.
Lo-Lo291303 Lo-Lo291303 6 years
Zulkey - it's definitely a diamond. My fiance got the ring from a family friend who we trust. Since the pave diamonds are really small, it's hard to tell exactly what's wrong with it. It may have fallen out altogether, or it could just be dirty. Either way, our jeweler has offered to replace it and accepts full responsibility :)

If I'm working hard, I will get super sweaty, and I can't deal with rings on sweaty fingers!
