Do you workout on the weekends, or just save it for the work week?

I am always curious about people's workout habits (I'm kind of nosy), especially you Sugar users. Theoretically working out on the weekend seems like it would be so much easier since weekends are supposed to mean we have more free time - but is that true? Is is true for you? I want to know...

Do you workout on the weekends, or just save it for the work week?

I don't workout on the weekends because it's family time and down time and my family is my #1 priority....I also tend to overeat and take naps ;)

In the past, I've worked out on the weekends. I used to live in LA so sunny weekends were often an invitation to bike, hike, etc. Now that I'm on the East Coast, I am trying a new thing where I work out all week and keep the weekend for fun. Like others have mentioned, the week just seems easier to face the crowds, time is structured, it's easy to have a routine. Maybe when the weather gets warmer, I'll find myself being more active.

i always work out at least one day during the weekend - sometimes both, it depends on what time i get in on friday or saturday night

I always wondered why I didn't work out that much on weekends because I have ALL DAY! But it just never happens. I think I'm much better working out on weekdays because my day is much more structured and routine, unlike the weekends where it's always different and I'm all over the place! The best things in life are free. The second best are expensive.

I usually workout both days, but some weekends I'm just not up to it--sometimes you just want to relax and not run around all the time.

I take one day off a week, Saturday, it's the day before my long training run (for a half marathon). Taking that day off, except for walking to get things done, really clears my head and makes me feel rejuvinated for my 10+ mile runs!

I may not hit the gym on the weekends but I usually end up going to the dog park, biking, or other activities at the beach so I still get the workout.

I'll go to the gym on the during the week, if I have to, GreenSkittles, since it's often too cold or too dark to go outside during the week. But on the weekend, like I said before, I'd rather bundle up, take advantage of daylight and get the heck outside!

I have to negotiate with my husband and we each try to fit a workout in somewhere in the weekend.

I try to have one day of a structured workout on the weekends plus I get a chance to take my dog for a long leisurely walk so he can smell everything along the way.

I can't bear to tear myself away from "fun" weekend activites, but sometimes those include physical activity. Green, I think that it is easier to make myself head to the gym after work, rather than having to leave my house on the weekends! That is why I am one less person in the gym on the weekends...don't know about everyone else!

I am always so confused about why the gym empties out on the weekend (I work out both days). During the work-week, shouldn't people be busier because of work??

I may not go out for a run or head to the gym, but I play golf and walk the course both days over the weekend as long as the weather is favorable. In the winter, I snowboard all day, both Saturday and Sunday. I am exercising, but not in a structured environment like the rest of my week.

I usually, finally get to do something outside like hike, bike or ski. And actually get to yoga while my bf swims, he's triathlon training again, we do our own thing then meet up and go play.

I don't "workout" per se on the weekends, but I do most of my cleaning then and I do work up a sweat doing that!
