Emily Blunt Covers Elle UK: Photoshop Makes You Look Like a Barbie

A Healthy Bite: Emily Blunt

"I don't like it when they stretch you out and make you all long and skinny. It makes you look like a Barbie. Who the hell looks like that?"

— Actress Emily Blunt speaks to Elle UK on her dislike of having photos of herself altered by the media. This is not the first time the actress has spoken out against the use of Photoshop. In February, Emily made news when she told a photographer not to retouch her pics.

They've been photoshopping for YEARS. It's just that normies know about it now, and celebs have to back pedal so they don't seem fake. I like Emily Blunt though. Barbie has great boobs, but no a*s. I rather be proportioned.

This: http://regmedia.co.uk/2009/10/07/ralph_lauren_photoshop.jpg is one of the most ridiculous uses of Photoshop I've ever seen. She looks like a bobblehead. (RL caught a lot of s*it for the photo)

Good for her...I think the magazine industry is abusing Photoshop now. It's so ridiculous how weird they make these actresses look.

I love her. She seems so normal and down to earth. We need more celebrities to act like her.

Photoshopping has gotten increasingly ridiculous. Photoshop was supposed to be like making someone "them but better", but now whoever does this crap for magazines, the turn the celebrity on the cover (and everyone in the mag) into almost completely different people. The point was to not be able to tell something had been photoshopped - now it's just blatantly obvious and terrible.
