At clearskis, I agree. Every since I started working out and eating right I seriously have no issues with my period. I never get bloated or cramps anymore.

I love my period! Haha. As being sexually activate with my long-term boyfriend, and even though we are always super careful, it is always a relief to know everything is moving along just fine =) I couldn't imagine not getting my period, how would you know if you are preggers or not?

stagnant blood = cancer? Really? Care to cite any studies? And how does no period = stagnant blood? What does that even MEAN?

periods while on the pill are not periods at all. as fit already said in the answers - it's withdrawal bleeding. i tried explaining that to my Boo when i tried to take two packs of 21-day pills in a row and he freaked out about it not being good to me. the only thing that calmed him down was that my GP said it was OK :)

@Autumns_Eleg you throw up and pass out on your period?? That is intense! I used to have labor like periods, I would have to miss work, actually one time when I tried to work through the pain I threw up. One thing that helped, which you'll probably roll your eyes at (I did too) was stress management. The last three months I've been focusing on relaxing, eating better and having consistent physical activity and it has really made my period more bearable.

I don't miss my period! Throwing up and passing out is NOT natural, you girls who like your rag can keep 'em!

I think having an eight-day long period with an equally long migraine is unnatural, so having the option to not have either at all is a huge relief.

No, it's not "unnatural" to not have a period. When "we" would have several children (because they were needed to work in the fields, because many died during childbirth, of disease as young children, etc) we didn't have many periods because we were pregnant most of the time. It's actually MORE "unnatural" to bleed as often as we do since most people are only pregnant 1-3 times in their life. Anyhow, I just went off of the pill and the PMS that happened before my first non-pill period was horrible !

About 1.5 year ago, I exercise too much and my period disappear. After that, I learn to have a 'rest day' and not go to extreme on my exercise. Thank goodness, my period come back. Never realize I miss it so much until it disappear!

I agree with you all. It's not natural or healthy to not have a period.

I agree with you both. I just came of the pill and had my first real period in a while. I felt like a woman again, so much more natural. Not to mention my last orgasm was the most intense I have experienced in a while. That is always a plus!

I agree with michIny. You were made to have a period, that is what being a woman is all about. It cleans you out every month and even though I hate that time of month, I know it is healthy for me.

I really don't think it's healthy not to have a period. It's unnatural.
