Everyone needs a break from their exercise routine. I'm a big fan of taking a day or even a week off if I have too many appointments, go on vacation, get sick, or just don't have time. Sometimes life doesn't allow for a trip to the gym, and it can be beneficial to give your body and mind a little rest. You've got to be careful not to let your little break turn into a habit though. If you've noticed that it's been longer than two weeks since you slipped on your sneaks and sports bra then make a pact with yourself and pick a day to work out ASAP. The longer you wait, the harder it will be to get back into your regular routine.
