Actually working out gives you many things. For me, I would expect to feel better, lose some pounds and get some decent muscles ____________________________________ Don't tick me off. Or you'll get it.

I've got some extra baby weight to drop, and definetly want to be more flexible. When I was a kid, I was a decent gymnast- now I couldn't do a cartwheel if my life depended on it. (well, I could probably do a crappy cartwheel)

fitnessgirl, basically it is a painful muscle problem, you can't catch it. Doctor's still aren't sure what causes it. They think it could be from an injury in your neck, something to do with injuring a certain bone in the neck. Then later on in life, usually in your 20's, you develop it. But, like I said, their not sure, and there is no cure yet. You feel like you have been hit by a car most days..it causes other things too. You can google it. Google will correct the spelling. Also, for a long time doctor's thought it was all in the patient's head...it's not. It is very real. Some days, are better than others. I hope that explains it a little bit. It has also been known to cause other things too. It was a relief to find out, and everything started to make sense to me. It can't kill you, thank God. :) Also, exercise is very important...it helps it.

I just want to get really toned up. I don't want to lose any weight. And, any exercises that help fibromyalgia (sp), I'm definitely interested in. :)

flexibility comes with practice. almost anyone can do it, i think. just be careful starting out so you don't hurt yourself with stretching.

I chose the 2nd option. I really need to become more flexible. My hamstrings are SO tight and I can't really touch my toes! :oops: Also to become more toned.
