Food Review: Almond Nut-Thins

I have a friend who can't eat foods that contain gluten, and the other night I was having a little dinner party. I wanted to make sure she could eat the cheese and crackers, too, so I decided to pick up some gluten-free Almond Nut-Thins. I've definitely eaten some not-so-great gluten-free foods in my day, so how did these taste? To find out

.

Serving Size 16 crackers
Calories 130
Total Fat 2.5g
Saturated Fat 0g
Cholesterol 0mg
Sodium 115mg
Carbs 23g
Fiber less than 1g
Sugar 0g
Protein 3g

I've got to say that these crackers didn't look too appetizing when I peeked in the box, but when I tried them, they had a nice buttery flavor. The texture was very light, crunchy, and crispy, and they tasted great on their own or with hummus or cheese. Plus, check out the calories — only 130 for 16 crackers! Not to mention that each serving is cholesterol free, low in sodium, and contains 3g of protein (from the almonds). I'd definitely buy these again for myself and not just for my gluten-free friends.

i like these and the hazelnut. They aren't to salty and almost like having chips. PB and nutella work well too! :)

I love these I love these I love these!!! I've gotten them at Kroger & at an independent health food store. Kroger's actually the first place I ever got them! I've tried a lot of the flavors, but not the cheese flavor. I TOTALLY 100% recommend them! I think I like the Pecan & Almond best... But honestly they are all good. Even the Smokehouse flavor. I like them with hummus sometimes. They're super crunchy!

I am so glad you featured these! I'm addicted, and I even got my boyfriend into them. Could seriously eat an entire box. I think the almond and hazelnut taste the best. You can usually get them at health food stores, or places like Whole Foods or Central Market. Definitely worth trying!
