Get Mental For Dental Health

I recently went to the dentist for a cleaning, and my hygienist loves to talk about dental health (of course). I definitely learned a thing or two. Take this quiz to see if you're taking good care of your pearly whites.

It dosent matter if you drink your soda through a straw when it comes to the health of your teeth. Sugar rots teeth from the inside. Its is true that drinking through a straw will help with stains though.

I got an A+! Rightfully so, I'm more careful this time around because my dentist said I'm on the verge of gingivitis...yikes! Also, if you're skeptical of the Crest White Strips, don't be! Give them a whirl. I didn't notice a difference but after using them about 3 weeks again, I got a lot of compliments!

swedey -- juice is healthier in general than soda. but when it comes to your teeth, sugar is sugar, whether it occurs naturally in the fruit or is from corn syrup. and yes, drinking from a straw definitely helps.

The juice thing - I drink my juice half juice half water, it's much better on the teeth and tastes better too. I also started my daughter off with juice this way so she is used to it already. And drinking from a straw helps too.
