yes, in addition to the usual shin splints & pulled muscles, i broke an ankle playing volleyball, and the other ankle (twice) snowboarding. i've also had a few horseback-riding related broken bones.right now i'm dealing with a non-fitness related injury that is threatening my attempt to run my first 10k, and i'm bummed.i'm fairly certain i have a broken toe, thanks to my "bull-in-a-china-shop" of a horse. i know i can run the distance, so i'm hoping that a week of cycling and other non-toe impact exercises will help me keep my fitness up and that next week i'll be ok to run shorter distances. might be wishful thinking though.

Let's see... I've had shin splits from dancing ballet, broke my ankle playing laser tag and most recently fractured my wrist from falling off a pull-up bar and hitting a box jump box on the way down. It adds to my fitness street cred ;)

Just got over bursitis (which was the worst pain ever - *much* worse than having three babies!) in the knee from the cardio workout on Abs Diet 2. Guess all the jumping was just too much. And it figures that I totally loved the workout. Today is my first work out post bursitis. Gonna take it very, very gently.

I've never had anything major, but I did get a nice bout of tendonitis in my ankles from running. I've also suffered from plantar fasciitis and broken/missing toenails from running as well. Lately, nothing's been bothering me though.

Yes, right now, actually, although I'm not sure exactly what I did. I just know that when I do lunges and squats, my knee feels like it's going to explode. The hubs thinks I hurt it with my new running habit that I'm trying to build. I'm not sure though.

Last month I went from zero exercise to joining a 90 minute flow yoga class (and I mistakenly thought flow referred to 'gentle'). Three days later I discovered a pinched nerve in my neck that was shooting pain through my shoulder and right elbow. Yikes. A six day dose of steroids and rest cleared up the pain, but it flickers back occasionally. Stupid!

nothing too big, thankfully. one time while playing water polo in high school the ball was thrown at my face and i had a black eye. currently, the inside arch of my foot hurts and i'm not sure why. maybe from running, maybe from new shoes? and i also get wrist pains during cheerleading/tumbling lately
