It's been in the 80s all week, so after dinner last night, Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia ice cream was calling my name from the freezer. I'm all about indulging every once in a while, but I was worried my sweet tooth might cost me the entire pint! So I posted this on Facebook:

Fellow Facebookers posted some great suggestions like green apples with almond butter, frozen raspberries, and fruit salad with some fresh lemon juice sprinkled on top. Delish. I love fruit in the Summer!

My new fav: 2 pieces of celery chopped up with 1/4 of a Fuji apple chopped up with 4 crushed almonds blended with yogurt. It's my own waldorf salad that is perfect for dessert!

i use a small coffee mug and fill it with frozen berries and kashi go lean cereal with cinnamon and nutmeg, then top off with vanilla almond milk. The berries make it really cold and the cereal adds a sweet crunch. very light and satisfying.

I like vanilla Greek yoghurt with blueberries and honey. I also chop up watermelon into chunks, then mash it a bit and freeze it with chopped mint, and lemonade popsicles are always yummy.

Every night after dinner I have a serving of fruit and a few squares of high-quality dark chocolate. It's the perfect mix of decadent and healthy!
