Yes syako it would be funny because McCain is OLD and they usually have young buff men on the cover, I am not at all talking about what he's done fighting for the country, geez no need to get defensive. But back in the day he would totally be on the cover, a young John McCain looked really good physically.

jkat, I totally agree with you. I'm a big fan of Jillian on TBL, but she's minsinformed about Pilates. In this interview she's saying that it's only good for core strength, flexibiliy and rehabilitation, but if you do it with studio equipment, it's very much a full-body workout. And if you follow the correct form, it's also very challenging. It just doesn't provide the instant gratification weight loss results that Jillian achieves with her training methods, so from her POV it's not effective.

I am doing Jillian's "Making the Cut" right now, and it is intense, but so is Pilates if you do it right. I am going to have to go ahead and disgree with her on this one. My abs have burned WAY more from pilates than any of her MTC moves. (My quads...now that's a different story)
