During Passover, those who celebrate can count on enjoying homemade matzo ball soup, sweet charoset, and all of the other foods that are traditionally enjoyed at a Seder — the holiday ritual that includes a meal, prayers, readings, and traditions. But once the main festivities have commenced, finding Passover recipes free from leavened bread or other ingredients restricted during this holiday can be challenging.

ICYDK, people who celebrate Passover avoid food that has leavened (like bread). Wheat, barley, rye, oats, and spelt are avoided during the eight days of observance. And for Ashkenazi Jews, or Jewish people of central and eastern European descent, legumes, beans, rice, corn, peas, and seeds may also be avoided, depending on how the individual practices their faith.

If you're gearing up for Passover and don't want to live off of matzo and butter for the entire holiday, we rounded up 35 Passover recipes — including appetizers, sides, mains, and desserts — for you to enjoy while you're commemorating the Israelites' exodus from Egypt. Each recipe is free from " no-no" ingredients during Passover, easy to re-create, and absolutely delicious. No matter what you're craving during Passover, there's a recipe here for you.
