How Do You Strength Train?

When I am doing strength training I like to mix it up. Dumbbells one day. Resistance bands the next workout. I actually hardly ever use the weight machines because I feel like I get a better burn without them. I notice that people at the gym have their own routines and certain folks stick to certain strength training methods. Of course I'm curious about you guys. How do you typically strength train?
