How Many Meals Do You Eat a Day?

I have been working at keeping my energy level through out the day. I am trying to avoid the afternoon energy dip. I have found that a little healthy snack can go a long way, so I have added a pick me up to my daily meal plan and it seems to be helping.

Grrr. I eat one meal. My school schedule starts early in the morning, and I'm usually feeling sick from whatever I ate the day before. It's been really hard to get back in the swing of eating with my stupid colitis acting up all the time. Over the summer I ate 3 meals a day. Not I can't because I don't want to get sick at school and have to miss class. I need to work with a dietitian or a nutritionist or something.. I can't remember which one specializes in people with diseases.

It varies for me. Sometimes I'm running too late to have a full breakfast, but I do grab something before class when I run off. Most of the time, it's a granola bar, and it's only meant to tide me over to lunchtime. So, I'd say, on a typical day, two meals a day with three snacks, two in the morning and one in the afternoon.

It varies, but typically it's breakfast (a mocha with some sort of warm breakfast sandwich from Starbucks), dinner, and a small helping of low calorie cookies to satisfy my sweet tooth for dessert.

I eat normaly just one real meal. I don't eat in the morning and i don't have time for lunch, so i just eat a little something when i get home. But i eat usually one cookie when i am at work. But its so stressful there, that it just don't have time to eat. And you can't just eat something real at work, because you have to answer the phone whenever it rings. And it rings EVERY TIME you would like something. So i just eat one real meal and one or two cookies over the day. Buts its enough for me *shrug*

oh, one? I eat lunch every day, sometimes a small dinner. It's just how I eat. I maintain a healthy weight, so I'm not too worried. I must just have a slow metabolism.

I eat all the time.. Bananas, krispbreads.. lots of jam. Everything goes with jam. =D

i eat when im hungry, i eat oatmeal with fruit and almond every morning, sometimes im hungry in a few hours sometimes i dont eat till dinner. Which is ok by me because im a BAD night eater. I always have to have a string cheese or 100cal pack before bed..its bad.

I pretty much eat constantly. I guess you could call me a grazer - I eat pretty much every hour, on the hour! I still eat less than most people though, somehow! I guess cos its mostly fruit/vege and I have tiny portions.

sadly i live on the meal plan at my school and can only eat when they say i can eat. since i don't eat breakfast it's up to lunch and dinner to get all the food i need for the day.

I normally don't eat breakfast, and my lunch hour is at 3. What I do then is eat maybe a string cheese or apple or something, and then have dinner at about 6:30 or 7. I will have snacked a bit before 3, but nothing big. So I really eat one MEAL a day, and maybe two or three snacks.

The six small meal deal doesn't work for me, because sometimes those portions just grow and grow! So I count on having three meals with a small snack or two throughout the day.

I try to just eat when I'm hungry. Sometimes its 4 times a day, sometimes its just one.

3 meals a day, usually with mid-morning, mid-afternoon and before bed snacks. Why? I'm pregnant and right now I can't usually finish even HALF of my normal meals, and if I go too long without eating I get really nauseated. I have to really pay attention though so that I have healthy snacks (cheese, organic trailmix) on hand all the time.

I oatmeal in the morning. 6:30 am Then a rice cake with peanut butter and honey on top. 10:00 am Lunch, which I usually tend to overeat cuz I just love to eat. 11:15 am Fruit bowl that my sister cuts for me every morning. 1:00pm After the gym, I have a glass of milk. 7:30 pm Cuz I'm in bed by 9pm, lol. I OVEREAT though on the weekends which ruins my week of eating good. blah.

I usually eat like 6 times a day. Sometimes it is 3 small meals and 3 healthy snacks. Sometimes it is 5 healthy snacks and 1 meal. I try to balance it out and eat every 4 hours or so. When I'm naughty I just eat when I feel like it!

breakfast snack lunch snack dinner snack [nothing past 8pm ] i follow this religiously. when i don't i'm such a crabby-ass and my energy totally drops. i totally rely on it during my busy work schedule.

I usually eat three meals a day, and an afternoon snack to tide me over til dinner. I often have a little snack in the evening too, but I try to keep it light and healthy, like a glass of soymilk, some fruit, or some kind of low/no sugar dessert.
