How Many Times a Day Do You Feel Hungry?

Some people hardly ever get pangs of hunger, and others say they feel hungry all day. My stomach begins to growl about four times a day, right before breakfast, lunch, my 4:00 snack, and dinner. I actually love feeling hungry right before a meal, because it feels really satisfying to sit down and enjoy a plate of delicious food. So what about you?

I'm always hungry in the morning and at about 4pm. But if work isn't busy I'm constantly thinking about food - mostly what I should cook for dinner.

My usual schedule is 4 meals, but I only feel hungry for the middle two. I'm never hungry for breakfast but eat it anyhow. I'm also rarely hungry after evening runs, but know that I need something.

Usually around 3:30 I get hungry and after my evening runs around 8!

i do get hunger pangs from time to time throughout the day. i don't really eat 'meals' during the day so i try to nibble, but that's not typically the case so i resort to my stomach growling to tell me when i need to eat.

I'm super hungry between 7am-1pm. During this time I eat my main meals and get my daily fruit intake. After 1pm, I'd probably be fine with no dinner or a light meal...

There are some days where I'm always hungry and then most days I'm only hungry about once or twice in the morning (don't eat) and/or before I take my nap (in the afternoon).

i'm cutting down from 2500cal a day to 1400 so i feel hungry all the time, but it will go away in a few days. i always do this to myselg, pig out one week and then have to control myself... losing weight is a strugle.

I tend to get really hungry only about 2 or 3 times a day, usually it's right before I'm going to eat. I'm never hungry right after working out, but I'm usually super hungry about an hour or so afterward when I eat breakfast.

Same here -- a few times a day, and that's why I would have a meal. Like some posters here, I eat three solid meals a day, and I'm not prone to snack.I am particularly hungry when I wake up in the morning. That's why I MUST have breakfast, and it's so satisfying for me.

I feel ravenous if I don't have breakfast first thing in the morning, & then again sometime in the afternoon, & occasionally right before dinner (if I manage to forego snacking earlier).

I rarely get hungry, usually once a day or so, but only if I haven't eaten in around 6-8hrs. If I eat every 6-8hr I won't normally get hungry. I often eat in the evening when I realize I haven't eaten all day and/or out of boredom.

Oh dear, I am one of those that is usually always at least a bit hungry or able to eat. And I DO eat! In fact, I'm a female who packs in about 2,500 calories a day... I am really active, though. I'm sure I could up that and still see no real weight gain. My metabolism is through the roof! (I'm not complaining, I guess!)

I never really get hungry-hungry. I have to make myself eat breakfast because I really never feel hungry after I wake up, and I usually have about 8 really small meals throughout the day - 4 "meals" of 200 calories, and then 4 "meals" of 150 calories. I know that seems like a very little amount, but I eat a lot because a good bulk of it is produce so I get really full, and plus, if' I'm constantly eating, I don't feel deprived at all.

I'm hungry about 3-4 times a day, especially before 11:30. =/ My lunch hour is so screwed and dinner time is basically at 5 PM for me. After that, if I still get hungry, I wouldn't even eat.

4-5 times a day. Before meals, before my 3:30 snack and usually right before bed (but I ignore that one).

I'd say I get hungry about 4 times a day. I have weird work and school schedules and I have to plan my meals around them so I don't die of starvation. So I eat about 4 full meals on most days and am hungry for each of them. Yay for my metabolism.

I hate feeling really hungry, so I'm pretty much munching on something constantly. But since I also hate feeling overly stuffed after eating, I don't eat a whole lot at meals, so I am hungry again within an hour of eating. :P My eating habits are kind of odd I suppose.
