What's Your Exercise Schedule Like?

Lately I've been trying to stay motivated about my workout routine by figuring out which days work best for me to exercise. It's been easier to figure out my Summer routine: with the sun out for longer I'm able to run in the evenings later, and not only that, I've joined a gym with a great roster of evening classes to also keep me motivated after work.

I've decided that exercising after work on the weekdays, with a more relaxing schedule on the weekends, is what is best for me. So I've been sticking to a Monday through Friday workout plan, with a more lax, easier plan on the weekends. What about you; what's your exercise schedule like?

I try to get most of my workouts in during the week, so I have one day during the weekend off. The other weekend day is great for double workouts!

Every day throughout the week and I specifically take the weekends off to rest.

I work out most days, some days are harder than others. I also race at least once a month from March til about September. I'm currently training for a marathon so things are a bit different. Winter, I work out less, 3-4 times a week. The motivation just isn't there. Especially since I run outside and can't stand the treadmill.

I'm at the gym or running 5-6 mornings a week. My husband and I get up and go together, so much easier when I have someone to go with (even though we go our separate ways once we're there)! It's definitely best to have at least one day of rest each week to let muscle fibers heal!

I work out five days a week, with rest days after I strength train. I've tried working out every day but my body protests.
