I have actually done the ice bath a few times after my really long runs and as bad as it right when you get in....the next 10 minutes isn't too terrible unless you try to move a lot. But it does help!!!! I felt great afterwards!!! So be brave and do it!!! :)

When I played field hockey in high school the trainers wanted me to take an ice bath. Yikes!! Luckily I didn't have to because I forgot to do it, and later someone told me they hardly wash it even though football players use it constantly.

vanillabean, I completely agree! I winced a little at the thought of an ice bath! I'm still feeling a little sore from my Monday yoga class, but it's definitely a good sore.

I detest muscle soreness, but no way am I willing to take an ice bath! I'll just suffer and take a hot bath with epson salt (which helps a teeny, tiny bit).
