- Take a Quick Nap. Even if you can squeeze in a 10-minute nap today, you will feel sharper than you would have without it. Make sure you don't sleep for more than 40 minutes, since you'll just feel groggy.
- Get Some Sun. Exposing yourself to more light will help reset your internal clock and make you feel more alert. If the sun isn't shining in your neck of the woods today, turn your lights up.
- Get Moving. To help boost your brain power, go for a brisk walk to get the blood flowing. You'll realize you feel more alert when you get back to the office.
- Go to Bed an Hour or Two Earlier Than Usual. I know it's Friday night, but it might be a good idea to take a melatonin to help regulate your sleep cycle, plan to go to bed earlier, then make your bedroom nice and dark, but set your alarm clock for your normal weekday wake-up time so your body adjusts back to its normal routine.
Here's to feeling better by tomorrow!
