Julianne Hough's Favorite Dance Move For a Better Butt

As the July/August Women's Health cover star, Julianne Hough dishes on some of her favorite ways to stay healthy and happy, no matter how busy things get. With a nationwide dance tour and a new role as Sandy in Fox's upcoming Grease reboot, the dancer knows a thing or two about taking care of yourself when things get hectic. Check out Julianne's favorite ways to work out and have fun here!

On why dancing is such a good workout: "To get my cardio in I'll do a lot of twists to get my obliques going and my heart rate up and then a lot of cha-cha moves because that's all about your core, pulling down your lats, squeezing your obliques, and rotating but then your butt is super tight and you're squeezing that and you're getting your legs super close together and then straightening them. And on top of that your arms are super stretched out. I feel like dancing is the best workout you could get because you're working out muscles that you can't necessarily get just lifting weights because they're the little, tiny muscles that are all internal and it's that deepest layer of muscle that we have that dancing really gets."

Her advice for being happy: "Fake it 'till you become it, that's my motto, not fake it 'till you make it. Fake it 'till you become it because if I start laughing it's infectious and then I just really start laughing. Think of something funny, make yourself laugh."

The advice she would give her younger self: "My advice from me now to myself younger would just be to love yourself. All that you need is within you."
