Compared to usual theatrics, Lady Gaga's look on the March cover of Vogue was almost subtle. Keeping things simple in a pink wig and white gown, the star revealed in the interview that she's "quite down-to-earth" and wildly obsessed with her father's health. Gaga's father underwent heart surgery a few years ago so it's understandable that she shows so much concern:
"I obsess about his health. I'm very Italian. I call him every day. I ask my mother if he's been smoking. They are in their 50s, and they still live in the same apartment on the Upper West Side. Nothing has changed since I have become a star. I am a real family girl. When it comes to love and loyalty, I am very old-fashioned. And I am quite down-to-earth for such an eccentric person."
Gaga is known to be pretty healthy; she keeps a steady workout regimen and healthy diet while also enlisting celeb trainer Harley Pasternak to keep her on track. The flipside is that she has admitted to occasional cocaine use and that she smokes cigarettes here and there. Given her father's medical history, I wonder how much it influences her own choices regarding her diet and health. A family history of lupus did prompt the star to get tested for the connective-tissue disease, which resulted in a test result of "borderline positive."
