That is why it is great to have fresh fruit on hand for late night snacking, or a bowl of cereal with low or nonfat milk is always a great option too. Plus there is always going to bed on time too. amandaaa 8 years it depends on what you eat. the notion that late night snacking causes weight gain is because people tend to eat higher calorie and fat foods late at night. most people will have some ice cream, chocolate, late night taco bell, etc. later at night. more people tend to cave into cravings later at night. so...it's all about WHAT you eat. wiggle 8 years I just got my hair cut and the stylist was saying she was gaining weight cause she eats late at night...I was suspicious and now I know. I try not to eat late at night...I think I get more than enough calories during the day...but I don't like to goto bed hundry.
