FitSugar Readers' Healthy Resolutions For 2011

We were genuinely excited to hear that so many of you are resolving to get fit and healthy in 2011. For some that means starting a fitness routine for the first time. For others, it means pushing themselves even harder this coming year. Here are the most popular resolutions of FitSugar readers:

Running on the brainMyhousemd and heathbar6 both said that they want to run more in the coming year. Meanwhile, radiowires, soniabonya, bosworthfan, tuliprush, and inlove23 have their sights set on participating in a long-distance run. These readers want to compete in a 10K, half marathon, or full marathon in 2011. If you want to go the distance, here's a half marathon training schedule to start you off.

Kick the caffeine — Readers Lo Lo, joghog, TiVo, and benheld all say that they want to stop being so dependent on caffeine. For some, this means giving it up altogether, while others are just cutting back or switching to a healthier caffeine option like green tea. Here are the pros and cons of giving up that morning fix.

Bump that fitness up — While their methods are different, HoneyBrown1976, Betty Wayne, Spectra, advah, and le romantique all want to build up their fitness levels in 2011. Something we can totally relate to — we'll be attending more yoga classes, biking more, and trying out new fitness classes this year.

What will you be doing to make 2011 a healthy and happy one?
