Wow, a lot of things I didn't know. The spicy thing especially, makes me feel better for eating those spicy foods this weekend. The coffee and green tea thing is interesting too, I didn't think coffee would do that.

@Modus: I recently read that same fact. I sprinkle pepper flakes on everything now. Plus, it makes food so much more enjoyable. Also, spicy foods are great for beating the heat. When you go to very hot climates like India or Thailand, locals eat spicy foods all day and constantly drink hot tea. I always refused to believe that both can help lower your body temp., but both really do help to cool you down!

Yay! I got them all right. Spicy raises your metabolism a little bit, but it also makes you eat more slowly so you consume less calories overall.
