Moving Comfort Bermudas and Champion Knee Pants

I Like Big Shorts and I Cannot Lie

Maybe it's because Summer temperatures in the SF Bay Area never really climb too high, but I have never been a shorty shorts gal. I like big shorts, and I have been sporting two different styles this season that are comfy and cool, even though they cover my thighs.

  • Moving Comfort Fusion Bermuda ($42)
Made of a lightweight DriLayer fabric, these shorts will wick the sweat away. The material is soft, comfy, and stretchy. These shorts hit just above the knee without clinging uncomfortably to the flesh above the joint — no rolls of flesh coming out of from under tight elastic. The Fusion Bermuda comes in all black or in Aubergine with contrasting piping (so happy to have an option other than black!) and has an internal pocket for cash or your ID. The cut is flattering and fun to wear.

For a gander at some even bigger shorts, keep on reading.

  • Champion Double Dry Relaxed Knee Pants ($30)
Made of breathable "mock mesh," the silky fabric keeps you cool and ventilated. The shorts come to just below the knee with wide comfy legs. I thought they would make me look like my grandmother, but they just look sporty. The contrast piping adds a bit of style, too. A little too long to qualify as shorts for hoops, these knee pants are great for ploymetric work. The fabric moves so nicely during jumping squats and lunges.

Both pairs of shorts are great for gym workouts since they keep you covered, even in compromising positions. What length of shorts do you wear for you workouts?

At 5'0 tall it's hard to get away with these without looking "dumpy"
