One Treat Won't Kill Your Diet

Diet Tip: Allow Yourself One Treat While Eating Out

If you're constantly eating out then you may want to take a tip from the Wall Street Diet, which sounds a lot worse than it really is. One suggestion from the book is that you try to allow yourself one treat at a restaurant. This could be either a somewhat healthy dessert, a piece of the once-forbidden bread, or an additional alcoholic beverage. Allowing one indulgence will help make healthy choices a little easier and you won't feel like you're on a strict diet — and let's face it, one treat is not going to kill you.

I go out to dinner every Sat with the hubby! We also may go out once during the week. I try to be good, but do have a bigger portion than what I eat at home. I guess it is a good thing we only do this twice a week!

Hahaha no...I eat dinner out like 3 times a week! This would be BAD!

I wouldn't do this every time I dined out, just once in a while. If you had a treat every time you ate out, what once was an indulgence quickly becomes a habit!

No big deal, but FYI: You spell dessert with two s's! A nifty way to remember that is because it's dessert and you always want more, hence the double s!
