Since moving to San Francisco and joining Equinox, I've had the opportunity to try a ton of different instructors for different classes (one of which promises to deliver your best butt ever), all set to amazing music. Last week I was treated to the high-intensity, sweat-soaked Hot Power Yoga class led by the wildly hilarious Buddy Macuha. Not only is Buddy a phenomenal instructor with an obscene amount of positive – and contagious – energy, but the music he chooses for class reflects his personality and teaching style.
This playlist set the tone for my last (very sweaty) Power Yoga session, and you definitely need to try your home practice with this stylish, upbeat list of tunes (did I mention there's an amazing TLC cover?). There are a handful of tracks to warm up to, about an hour of heart-pounding dance music to keep your energy high, and a few tracks for cool down and Savasana.
