This Is How Priyanka Chopra Stays Mentally and Physically Fit to Kick Ass on Quantico

We all recognize this perfectly beautiful face thanks to our latest guilty pleasure, Quantico. It's Priyanka Chopra, and one of the best things about her look is the old Hollywood glam she emanates. There is also a level of confidence this former Bollywood star exudes that makes everything she does and wears even more fantastic.

More than that though, the girl has moves! She is strong and bold, and as we see her kick people's booties on her show weekly, we know she must have some phenomenal tips. Not only is she athletic, but she still looks healthy and womanly, giving us a great person to draw diet and exercise inspiration from.

She Doesn't Deprive Herself

Priyaka is known for being a bit of a foodie. She has a soft spot for her native Indian food, and has also mentioned her love of American favorites like hot dogs, pizza, and burgers. She even beat Jimmy Fallon in hot chicken wings contest! Atta girl!)

And though she credits most of her attributes to having great metabolism, she wrote in Times of India in 2008 that she mostly eats chapati, vegetables, soups, salads, rice, dal, and a lot of fruits, juices, and water.

Have Balance

Priyanka told Women's Health that "life is just really fast-paced and you don't have to kill yourself in the gym." She believes in the art of not excluding favorite meals, not being super hard on yourself, and not spending every waking hour of your life busting your buns at the gym. Essentially, her mantra is to keep the enjoyment there and live your life. Balance is key.

Exercise to Stay Fit and Strong

Priyanka does all her own stunts, she told Women's Health, so it is important to her to stay fit and be strong. It allows her to trust her body better and feel more confident in her work.

Yoga and Meditation

For her mental health, Priyanka makes sure to invest time each day in meditating to relieve herself of anxiety and stress. She also is an avid practicer of yoga, she wrote in Times of India in 2008. She finds it helps tone and strengthen her muscles, and enhances her flexibility. She also stands by the relaxation element of the practice as well.

She Takes Control of Her Body

"People always say you should listen to your body," Priyanka told Women's Health. "But I don't listen to my body. My body listens to me. I can't afford to be sick or low on energy. It's mind over matter." This mentality is a fantastic way to take control of your goals, your health, and your lifestyle, and given her great body and career she's balancing — while also allowing herself her indulgences — this seems to be the best way to go!
