With everything you need to go from work to workout, an over sized bag is key. Although our purse conveniently stows our essentials, a heavy handbag can cause back, shoulder, and neck pain. Some studies have even warned about the connection between your handbag and arthritis — yikes!

The next time you have a few minutes to spare, lighten your load! Take five minutes and remove all non-essential items. Clean out your wallet too and get rid of credit cards you don't use regularly and business cards you no longer need. The same goes for receipts. If you're changing handbags as the seasons change, take the opportunity to figure out what you truly need to carry and what is just weighing you down. Although it's a small step, it will save you from possible aches and pains down the road.

Oh man, my purse is always so jam packed with stuff that it weighs a ton! I keep magazines, a makeup bag, lotion, hand sanitizer, my wallet, lip balm, and tons of other stuff in there. I should probably go through it and get rid of the extra stuff could definitely stand to be a bit lighter.
