Researchers from the University of Missouri have found that you should not be inactive for more than two days between workouts. The reason being when you're inactive for longer than 48 hours your body may experience an increase in the amount of fat and the size of fat cells in the body.

So, if you're on a workout kick, keep it up! Try not to go longer than two days in between workouts because you want to keep your momentum (mental and physical) going strong.
