Relax Already: Unplug and Chill Out

It being Wednesday, it's time for a little midweek relaxation. Plus it's Earth Day, so I suggest taking the evening off from your electronics. Save some energy and create some mental space while you're at it. Close your laptop and turn off your TV. Light some candles and take a bath. Go for a walk with a friend instead of sending emails. Catch up on your back log of New Yorker magazines — don't forget to recycle them, or better yet pass them to a friend. Put on some relaxing music and stretch. Not only does avoiding TV and computers at night help you sleep better, taking a night off will be a nice change of pace if you're an electronic-media junkie.

I guess I should have tried this, haha. I am an electronics addict. I really can't stop...but I'm going to be studying media usage for the rest of my life - kind of ironic really. Eh, at least I'm getting more eco-friendly products, and I'm resetting up my power flow so that I don't use as much energy.

Oh man no electronics! I already failed - I'm a electro-Media junkie. But earlier today I did walk around La Brea Tar Pits and listened to some acid jazz, Antonio Carlos Jabim and Tosca :)

Happy Earth Day! It makes me want to spring clean (not really) and work on being more green (yes really).

I unplugged my laptop in honor of earth day. Doesn't mean I stopped using it though ;)

Of course, to put on relaxing music requires the use of electronics! LOL

Have to say, getting my TV converter box has really cut down on my TV watching. How so? Well, the darn thing just loses the signal in the middle of watching something and I've just had it with TV anyway. I've wanted to cut down for a long time but didn't have the discipline. Happy Earth Day!
