When we exercise our self control, our fuel tank becomes depleted, making subsequent efforts at self-control more difficult. What's more? Researchers also found that the fuel that powers this ability turns out to be one of the same things that fuels our muscles: glucose. Pretty cool, eh? While the debate is still in the air on how to improve self control, exercising it seems to be one method they are exploring. So exercise your own self control by eating delicious fruit instead of a bag of chocolates. Or by going to the gym instead of sitting at home in front of the TV.
