I have two set snack times during the work week and that works really well for me. Between 10-10:30 I have something and also at 3:30. Having a set snack time gives me something to look forward to and gives me a brief break from my day. If I didn't have a set snack time and played it by ear, I would be waiting until I was super hungry before I noticed I hadn't had a snack and then would have a better chance of over indulging. So that one works well for me, actually they all do! I love my snacks:)

I look at snacks as a way to get more healthy food into my body!!

I don't think the "set snack times" is a good idea because then you find yourself just thinking about that food 15 minutes prior to your "set" time. Just seems like bad behavior to me.
