You probably have a list of foods you try to avoid because you know they're not good for you (or your waistline). Wouldn't our lives would be much easier if the foods that were healthy for us were the decadent and savory foods we craved? Imagine lusting for steamed broccoli instead of a slice of chocolate cream pie! Unfortunately, it doesn't work out that way. i drink green tea cause it's healthy. otherwise i'd just wouldn't drink any tea :)

Cod liver oil! Ewwwww. I chase it with whatever I can. I love fish though, sardines and anchovies even. Something about the cod liver oil is... just... ew.

I actually really like my fruit and veggies. There are some that I don't like, but I like enough that I don't need to force myself to eat cauliflower, avocado, or asparagus. I don't like beans that much, but I will try to eat lentils when I'm not eating meat (not because I'm vegetarian, but because I don't always like to eat it) or tofu so that I get protein.

I force myself to eat fiber rich cereal. Kashi isn't awful but MAN I think about how much I'd rather being eating Froot Loops every single time. I force myself to drink a ton of water. I like water but I every glass I drink its not because I'm craving it most of the time. I also force myself to drink tea. I effing hate tea but I have probably had hundreds upon hundreds of cups. Why? I have no idea.

I forgot to add fish...I hate almost every kind of fish out there, so instead of forcing myself to eat it, I take a fish oil pill. I see no point in forcing myself to eat stuff I don't want to.

I don't force myself and I do like them but find it harder to eat tomatoes in the winter... cold salad on a cold winter day... brr!

i don't care for the taste of whole wheat pasta, but i only eat white pasta on rare occassions. as a college student, i make it a lot more often than i'd like to since it's so easy to make. it's a lot chewier, so i cook it a little longer and put more sauce on it to mask the flavor. i love all fruits.

Salmon..ick ick ick. But you know how it is - it's a great source of Omega 3 fatty acid. The smell is just putrid most of the time in my opinion. I happen to love whole grain EVERYTHING, salads, veggies, fruits, and anything soy based.

Essentially every vegetable. I've been forcing myself to eat them for years now and I still don't really care for them. At least I don't gag anymore. Sweet potatoes, though, are wonderful.

@insanitypepper corn is not a veggie, it's a grain! so your hubbie isn't getting any veggie points from it...just carbs and starch. its a very healthy grain, though, because its always whole and doesn't need much butter or oil. just thought i'd let you know!

I'm not a huge fan of bananas, but I eat them daily because they are so inexpensive. I also don't care for corn, but I'm not sure how healthy it really is in comparison to other vegetables. I only eat corn because it's one of the veggies my husband will eat. And as for seafood...I won't touch it no matter how healthy it is.

hmm..i like most foods, but my boyfriend makes some things that i dont particularly care for and will choke down if i'm too lazy to make my own dinner :-) i dont like brown rice. or squash...ew. but i like enough nutritious things that i really dont eat anything i dont like just for that reason.

being a vegetarian, i'm pretty much always looking for new fruits and veggies to have since my diet can get to be very blah after a while. i find that it's getting to be harder for me to eat salads since that's the fail safe that a lot of people go to when they are trying to feed me. it's like they don't know what else to make, and so a salad it is, and to be honest, i really don't care for lettuce. it's not that i don't like it, it's just not a food that i like to eat. (if that makes sense)

oh tomatoes...how i loathe them. nonethelesss i find myself shutting my eyes tight and mentally bracing myself every time I eat them instead of avoiding them....gross

I like most healthy things, but sometimes it's a chore to eat the bottom greens of a salad when all the other toppings are gone.

I love eggs... but hate egg whites. Also, green team is so bad, but I try to force myself to take in the mornings.

Nuts of any sort. Peanuts, cashews, almonds...but I find them so disgusting that I usually can't eat too many of them. :)

Beaner reminded me that I bought plain yogurt last week but I have yet to open it. :| Guess that's a tough one for me, too. Also, water. I like it enough, but I really have to push myself to drink as much as I need, especially when there is better stuff to drink.

I rarely meet a food that I don't like. I love broccoli, brussel sprouts, asparagus, berries, bananas, oranges, apples, etc. The one thing that I'd say I do for the benefit of being healthy (versus eating what I like) is substituting healthier versions of certain foods versus things I like better. I love vanilla yogurt, but I eat non-fat plain yogurt, which doesn't taste nearly as good. I eat whole wheat pasta, which isn't bad, but not nearly as good as the regular kind.

I like most healthy foods--I have a slight aversion to peas though, they just remind me of school food or something. I also cannot stand green tea. I know its ridiculously good for you, but it tastes terrible!! Therefore, I have given up trying to drink it, because I usually just end up wasting it.
