When I am feeling overwhelmed and anxious, I find that it is best to get away from what is causing the stress. I like to get out. It seems simple. It seems like common sense but it can be really challenging to do. Next time you are feeling stressed, I urge you to walk away from your computer and head outside. Or to the lobby of the office building. Or at least to the bathroom. Just walk away from it all for a little bit. Clear your mind and come back to those darn issues with a new attitude.
If you can get outside, talk a walk around the block. Focus on your breath to help calm your mind. A little fresh air always helps the body and the mind.
