Fresh fruit from the farmers market is the best. And Sunday mornings (the day after the market) are perfect for a fresh and simple breakfast of fruit, yogurt and granola. For this quick meal I mixed together some fresh strawberries, raspberries, peaches and fresh figs. Mixed the fruit together and topped my fat free plain Greek yogurt with them, a little Everything Granola and a drizzle of honey. Not sure it gets much better than this.

Sounds tasty and healthy! I would like to eat like this every day of the week — not just Sundays — but weekday mornings can be hectic. I'm wondering what you all had for breakfast this morning, and whether it differed from what you ate for your morning meal over the weekend.

A Trader joe's apple cranberry muffin warmed and smashed in a bowl with a sprinkle of almond slivers and almond milk. Basically a warm "muffin cereal" YUM.

This morning I had: pureed pumpkin, mixed with roasted butternut squash cubes, egg whites & cinnamon - cooked pancake style and sprinkled with powdered stevia and more cinnamon! DELISH! I eat it every day!

3 egg white omelette with turkey breakfast sausage, pepper jack cheese, and spinach. With a piece of toast, and coffee.

Homemade granola bar (almond, peanut butter, and honey with lots of grains... yum!) and coffee. I'd normally throw in a smoothie, cottage cheese, or fruit, but I was in a rush to catch a flight. @ Sinnamon Jones: Don't feel bad! Morning is the best time of the day not to hold back... and breakfast foods are delicious.

Same thing every morning... 1/2 cup dry oats microwaved with 3/4 cup of soy milk and 1/2 cup water, tbsp of chopped almonds, cinnamon and splenda, along with an omelette of 3 whites and 1 one whole egg, spinach, onions and 1 tbsp of cottage cheese and salsa... Loves it!

Kashi 'Toasted Berry Crumble' cereal with soy milk, half a banana (the other half was gross), and a handful of almonds.

A bowl of Blueberry Morning cereal with almond milk and a banana. Tomorrow morning and the morning after will be overnight oats (recipe courtesy of with fresh strawberries and cacao nibs. :]

I have this almost every work day. 1/2 cup of fat-free milk, a small cup of Honey Bunches of Oats, and a bowl of mixed berries (strawberries and blueberries today).

I keep switching up whenever I get bored, but most always with a porridge base (free from my office canteen before 9am! Great incentive to be early for work). My current favourite: soya porridge with prunes and hemp seeds. Mmmm.

one egg + one egg white on a toasted whole wheat english muffin w/ reduced fat pepperjack cheese/tomato/avocado and gala apple slices on the side. delicious :)

Old fashioned oatmeal with a splash of milk, vanilla and cinnamon. A banana on the side.

Toast with peanut butter and jelly, and scrambled eggs topped with shredded cheddar cheese. :D Yum!!

Same thing I have every day - a Kashi cereal (I alternate between a few so I don't get bored) and an Activia probiotic yogurt. And coffee.
