With so many styles of water bottles to choose from it can be hard to find one bottle that fits all your needs. Luckily, the FitSugar team believes in hydration and we've rounded up our favorite water bottles for sipping in many different situations, from hiking to spinning. So here's the lowdown on the water bottles we use regularly and have tested thoroughly to help you find the one that works best for you. Wondering what to look for in a water bottle. Well, we've broken each one down on the following criteria. Is it easy to carry? Easy to sip? Does it leak? Is it BPA-free? Is it dishwasher safe? First up is Life Factory's glass bottle, which is perfect for the desk bound commuter. You can sip while driving and keep your bottle at your desk to make sure you stay hydrated all day long. It's great for a day in the car, running errands, too. It's easy to carry because of the handle here. But because it's glass it's a little heavier than plastic counterpart. You do have to take the top off to sip. So it's not the easiest for your workout, but it's a great lifestyle bottle for the car or for your desk. It doesn't leak and the screw top lid means you're less likely to accidentally spill water all over your keyboard, or anything else. because it's glass the water never tastes funky when sitting around all day and as with all glass bottles you don't have to worry about BPA or any other chemicals finding their way into your water which we love. All parts are dishwasher safe. So you can easily use it for juice or hydration tablets and you know cleanup is gonna be easy. And an added bonus? It's actually really pretty to look at and it comes in a variety of colors. We love this water bottle from Cordelta for hiking specifically. It has an ergonomic handle that's really simple to carry and a safety latch that won't pop open in the middle of your hike or in your bag. And even though it's plastic, this bottle is BPA-free and it's dishwasher safe. For a bottle you can take along to the gym, we love the CamelBak-eddy. The straw makes for easy sipping and spin class and it's great for group classes or the treadmill too. It doesn't have an official handle, just a little hook here. So, it' s a little harder to carry than other favorite but it's great for sipping. The straw means you don't have to squeeze it or tilt your head back so you can keep an eye on your workout while taking a drink. It's BPA-free and leak free. So you can toss it into you gym bag without worrying it's going to spill all over your gym clothes but be warned the cap is a little fragile so toss gently. And the best part, it's dishwasher safe and we always love that. The purist watergate bottle from specialize is great for cycling. It would also be another good pick for the gym since it's lightweight and leak proof. It's soft plastic bottle that doesn't leave the water tasting like plastic due to the bottle's high-tech lining which is usually the reason some people prefer glass to plastic. This one is great for long bike rides, or studio cycling classes, and it's one of the less expensive options on our list. Since it's designed for cycling, there's no handle on this one, but it has a clear viewing strip. So, you can easily see the content and know when it's time to refill. The watergate mouth opening means a lot of water comes out with each sip. So unlike other sports lids, it's easy to get a big gulp. It's BPA-free and top shelf dishwasher safe. Now I say top shelf because it's plastic, so you really You don't wanna put it on the bottom of the dish washer where it might melt. Now this bottle is insulated, making it a great pick for outdoor use in hot weather. It will keep your water cold which is perfect for summer months when other bottles will warm up pretty quickly. It has a hook here at the top which makes it pretty easy to carry. There's no flip top so, it's a little harder to drink out of, but for hot weather nothing beats and insulated bottle that can keep your drinks cold for up to 6 hours, and up to 24 hours drive strength. You can even use it as a thermos for soup or coffee in colder months. It's made of stainless steel, it's BPA-free, and doesn't retain odor or aftertaste. And it doesn't leak. Now this is not dishwasher safe. So hand washing is great to keep the vacuum seal intact. And a bonus is that it comes in three different sizes. So, take your pick. Try out these water bottle and let us know what you think in the comments or if you have any other favorites. See you next time on FitSugar TV.

i have the camelbak groove with the filter in it and it's hands down the best water bottle i've ever used. you replace the filter once every two months and you don't have to worry about the weird water qualities if you fill up at a water fountain! i love it!

The lifefactory is my favorite- though I agree that its hard to work out with! I've poured the water down my face on more than one occasion.
