Use a Cooling Headband Made From Wicking Material When Working Out

Never Let Them See You Sweat

With Summer almost here, my outdoor workouts are becoming uncomfortably hot. And even though I wear my hair in a ponytail, it's still not enough. Also, the headbands I normally wear aren't up to par in this heat — the sweat leaves them damp for way too long, and I'm left  uncomfortable. If you're feeling me on this, you might want to consider investing the 20 or so dollars and buy yourself a wicking headband. It's seriously one of the best investments I've made all year.

As is the case in clothing made with wicking material, cooling headbands keep the sweat off of your body and dry incredibly fast. You're never left feeling sweaty and uncomfortable or stuck with a headband that's damp and gross. I'm a fan of the Buff CoolMax Headband ($18) — not only does it keep sweat off of my brow, it's also made with material that provides UV protection. That, and it is a little bit wider than most other headbands out there. If this style doesn't suit you, check out this one from Halo — a favorite among marathoners and triathletes.
